application for a patent in Austria.
1998 Installation of a pilot plant.
1999 Application for the international patent (PCT-AT98/00284) for
the CTER technology.
2000 Further research and optimization of the pilot plant.
Contract for the first industrial installation with a production
capacity of up to 40.000 t/y
2001 Worldwide marketing of the CTER technology. The first
industrial plant goes into operation, fall 2001.
2003 Energea is leader of a European research project of Euro
1,4 million which receives a 50% subsidy of the European Union
2004 Construction of the 250.000 t/y biodiesel and glycerine plant for
Biofuels Corporation Plc at Teesside, UK, commenced in July 2004.
