INDUK-KUD Indonesia has initiated the "National
Movement for Overcoming Poverty and Fuel Crisis through the Rehabilitation
and Forestation of 24 Million Hectares of Critical Land with Fuel
Substitution Energy Producing Plants” as contained in the
Indonesian Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2006 on the Provision and
Utilization of Biofuel as Alternative Fuel. The Jatropha Curcas is a
plant that can grows in marginal land or critical land, having productive age
of 50 years, does not require intensive care, and is relatively resistant
against pest and disease such that production costs can be minimized. Nearly
all parts of “Jatropha” plant can be utilized; in addition to Biodiesel, other parts can produce
various products as compost (natural fertilizer)and fodder, development of
insecticide, medicinal uses and soap production….etc. INDUK
KOPERASI UNIT DESA (INDUK KUD) is a cooperative organization in
Indonesia, since 1973. It has a current 13,400,000 family
membership, which carry about 65,000,000 individuals, equivalent to
approximately 1/4 of the current total of the Indonesian population. INDUK KUD has 9,000 branches spread throughout the
whole country, and it possesses and manages about 30% of Indonesian natural
resources. It also has expertise in collecting, upgrading, and marketing its
members’ products in local markets as well as international markets. The
established Indonesian Agriculture and Fishing Cooperation is widely well
accepted by the Indonesian people, which will play very important roles in
the development of Indonesian economy. INDUK-KUD is ready to realize
this Jatropha project:
INDUK KUD 印尼農漁業合作社全國總會 依照2006年印尼總統所頒佈的1號國家替代能源計劃,印尼將利用2400萬公頃的旱地與貧瘠地作為作為消除貧窮與替代能源作物種植計劃的使用. 痲瘋樹是一種可生長在旱地與貧瘠土壤上的樹種,生長期可長達50年,不需要太多的管理與照顧,耐乾旱,對病蟲害與疾病有很強的抵抗力,種植成本低廉.痲瘋樹整株植物皆可利用,除了種子的油作為生質柴油的原料外,其他各個部分更可應用在肥料,飼料,醫藥,肥皂…..等等用途. 印尼農漁業合作社(INDUK KUD)組織自1973年成立以來，會員家庭數已達1340萬，人口數約6500萬，占印尼全國人口幾近1/4，其分支機搆9000個地方組織單位遍佈全國，旗下會員擁有並管理近30% 印尼全國天然資源，INDUK KUD擁有豐沛的印尼政商人脈資源，並已成功整合旗下會員多種產品行銷海外市場的實務經驗，印尼農漁業合作社不僅倍受印尼全國人民的歡迎,並將在印尼未來國家經濟發展的道路上承擔舉足輕重的角色。 INDUK KUD 已準備好即將執行此項計劃:
